FTP lets you transfer files with a program such as FileZilla.
- In cPanel, open FTP Accounts and create an FTP account, or use your main account details.
- In your FTP program enter the host (your domain or the server name from your welcome email), your FTP username and password, and port 21.
- Connect and open the public_html folder to upload your website files.
Use a secure option such as FTP over TLS if your program offers it.
