How to create a MySQL database and user

  1. In cPanel, open MySQL Database Wizard.
  2. Enter a database name and click Next Step.
  3. Create a database user with a strong password.
  4. Tick All Privileges and click Next Step.

Note down the database name, username and password. Your website software, such as WordPress, asks for them. The host name is normally localhost.
