How to see website errors in cPanel

When a page shows a 500 error or a blank screen, the error log usually says why.

  1. In cPanel open Errors under Metrics to see the latest errors.
  2. Or, in File Manager, look for a file called error_log in the folder of the affected page.

If you open a Technical Support ticket, paste the last few lines of the log. It speeds things up a lot.
