How to add or change DNS records

If your domain uses our nameservers you can edit records in cPanel.

  1. In cPanel open Zone Editor and click Manage next to your domain.
  2. Click Add Record and choose the type: A points a name to an IP address, CNAME points a name to another name, MX sets where email is delivered, TXT holds verification and email-security text.
  3. Fill in the name and value given by the service you are connecting, then save.

If your domain uses nameservers from another company, make the changes there instead. Wrong MX or A records can stop your email or website, so ask us by ticket if you are unsure.
