Why is my email bouncing or not sending?

Work through this checklist before opening a ticket:

  1. Read the bounce message. It usually states the reason in plain words, for example mailbox full or address does not exist.
  2. Check the address. A single typo in the recipient address is the most common cause.
  3. Check your password. If you recently changed it, update it on your phone and computer too.
  4. Check your mailbox size. In cPanel, open Email Accounts and look at the used space. A full mailbox cannot receive mail.
  5. Check attachment size. Large attachments are often refused. Try a smaller file or a sharing link.
  6. Check the settings. Outgoing mail needs authentication, port 465 with SSL/TLS.

If it still fails, open a Technical Support ticket and include the full bounce message, the sender and recipient addresses, and the time it happened. That lets us find the cause quickly.
