In cPanel, the right-hand panel on the home page shows your disk usage and bandwidth. For detail, open Disk Usage to see which folders take the most room, and Bandwidth under Metrics to see traffic.
Common space hogs are old backups, log files and large image folders. Delete what you do not need. If you run out of space your site and email can stop working, so act before you reach the limit.
