How to change or reset an email password in cPanel

  1. Log in to cPanel (see Where to find your cPanel and webmail login details).
  2. Open Email Accounts.
  3. Click Manage next to the email address.
  4. Enter a new password (use the Generate button for a strong one) and click Update Email Settings.

After changing it, update the password in your phone and any email programs, otherwise they will keep failing to log in.
