Why do my emails go to spam? (SPF and DKIM)

Messages land in spam when the receiving server cannot confirm they really came from your domain. Two records help: SPF lists the servers allowed to send for your domain, and DKIM digitally signs your messages.

  1. Log in to cPanel and open Email Deliverability.
  2. Look at your domain. A green tick means SPF and DKIM are valid.
  3. If it shows a problem, click Manage and then Install the suggested record.

Also avoid ALL-CAPS subjects, many links, and sending to purchased lists. If you use another service to send email on your behalf, such as a newsletter tool, add its records to your SPF too. If problems continue, open a Technical Support ticket with an example message header.
